Auditorio de Tenerife, Tenerife, Spain - Due to the slender form of the building, the use of concrete for the realization of the structure was inevitable. A wide range of formwork expertise was required in order to complete this concert hall: from the use of the simple TRIO panel formwork for the foundations, climbing formwork for symmetrically-arranged round and curved sail-like walls, through to a very unusual special construction on the basis of the ACS self-climbing technology for the approx. 100 m long self-supporting roof assembly.
Auditorio de Tenerife, Tenerife, Spain - All carriage movements are carried out using three independently operated hydraulic circuits: moving forward and retracting, positioning as well as shuttering and striking.
Auditorio de Tenerife, Tenerife, Spain - Positioning of the VARIO GT 24 internal formwork for the curved and inclining sail-like walls. Anchoring the supports in the suspended intermediate slab served to carry the high horizontal loads from the bracing.

Auditorio de Tenerife, Tenerife, Spain - The Auditorio de Tenerife is used as a concert hall and is an example of the almost unlimited possibilities provided by concrete construction. The formwork technology required for such a structure presented a special challenge which our engineers solved in a rational and safe manner.
